IMPORTANT LOGISTICAL INFORMATION
Please note that our plenary meeting is by-invitation only for our members and only registered participants & speakers will have access to the venue. All spouses/partners also required registration and payment in advance. We are currently at full capacity and no last-minute arrangements can be made on site. If you already registered but need to cancel your participation, please contact the North American office immediately <tpark@trilateral.org>.
All sessions will take place off-the-record under the Chatham House rule. We ask that you do not post about the meeting online or social media until we adjourn (ie Sunday April 6th at 2pm ET). No recording is permitted at our meetings.
Please be advised that the online version of our program booklet (click the text to download) reflects all last minute changes and corrections. In the event of any discrepancies between the printed and online versions, the online version shall be considered the most accurate and up to date.
Wifi Network is “TrilateralCommission” (password: Washington2025) for the wifi access at the hotel.
Registration Desk will be open in the ballroom level of Salamander D.C. Hotel from 9 am-12 noon on Thursday, April 3rd and Friday, April 4th. Please bring your photo ID to pick up your package and wear your badge at all times for the conference and dinners — our security team will be checking your badge for access to the venue. If you need to register outside of these hours, please text Tina upon arrival at the Ballroom level (+1 416 828 2361) identifying your name and national group.
Dress code for the conference is business. For your information: Washington, D.C. in early April typically enjoys mild spring weather, with daytime temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C (50°F to 68°F). While the cherry blossoms are often in full bloom, occasional rain showers are also common so we recommend a light jacket for late evening programs off-site.
Please note that each participant is responsible for making their own hotel & transportation arrangements. If you need to arrange a private transfer from the airport, we recommend Chariots for Hire, +1 703-790-5466.
For speakers & moderators only: If you require any assistance with your travel arrangements, please email <concierge@trilateral.org>. If you are using any PPT slides, please be sure to send them to <chiefofstaff@theparkgroup.ca> by April 1st at 12 noon ET.
On Friday, April 4th, a welcome reception will be held on site at the Salamander D.C. Hotel (Marina/Grand Lawn) from 5pm to 6:30 p.m. Following the reception, participants will follow different evening schedules based on their national groups. Please consult your national group’s secretariat for details.
For our American, Canadian, and Mexican participants attending the North American dinner, our shuttle buses will depart from the hotel at approximately 6:45 p.m from the shuttle bus entrance in the ballroom level (different from the lobby entrance). We are currently sold out for this event. Please be sure to bring your QR code for the North American dinner. Please note that this dinner is by invitation only as well and we are unable to accommodate any last minute requests.
If you are a member of the Executive Committee, you will receive a separate email from your regional office for the private breakfast meeting on Saturday, April 5th (7:30am). Please contact your regional secretariat to confirm your attendance at the ExCom meeting if you have not done so yet.
On Saturday, April 5th, the shuttle buses for our Global Gala will depart from Salamander D.C. Hotel at 6:45pm. Please note that the shuttle bus departure is NOT from the lobby level but rather a separate bus entrance from the ballroom level on Maine St. We will have signs & on-site staff to direct you.
Dress code for the Saturday gala is business formal or black tie optional. The shuttle bus will depart again from the Museum starting from 10pm to bring you back to the hotel. Please note that there was a separate registration process for this gala and you will need the QR code from your registration to enter the venue. We are currently at full capacity for the gala.
We have noted all relevant dietary preferences, allergies and sensitivities but please be sure to advise your server for the lunch on Saturday at Salamander Hotel and for dinner at the Global Gala at the Museum.
There will be a designated seating area for the spouses/observers/guests/staff in the ballrooms which will be marked with a table sign.
If you need to print anything while on site at the conference, please email <concierge@trilateral.org>.
We will have security personnel on site who will be checking for your badge. Please be sure to wear your badge at all times and let us know immediately if you misplace your badge by emailing <concierge@trilateral.org>
Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you soon in Washington D.C.
